Lately I've been playing a lot of Balatro! I'm a sucker for a good roguelike and Balatro is super addictive. I have three jokers left to unlock before I complete my collection but one of them is proving really difficult...

i went to knott's scary farm last week with my partner and it was my first time going, so that alone was a great memory! while we were there we ran into a friend who was working as one of the scare actors; i didn't know he was working there, so he got me good when i heard a random ghoul shout my name out of nowhere.

I've been going back and watching the original Ranma 1/2 so that's been a lot of fun! My dad enjoyed this show quite a bit. My mom made him stop watching it with me because she was apparently worried about some of the nudity but honestly all I remembered before now was TALKING PANDA.

my gf and i did this movie double-feature thing with transformers one (the movie she wanted to see) and beetlejuice beetlejuice (the movie i wanted to see). we did absolutely nothing else. two back-to-back showings (and two back-to-back viewings of the minecraft movie trailer, but i digress). i was exhausted by the end of it but it was really fun!!!

I have been super into The Elusive Samurai lately! Ongoing manga, anime wrapped up season one recently. I cannot get over it and I cannot stop tossing it at people hoping it will stick LOL. I'm not usually into period pieces but the story is super fresh and it's by my favorite author so of course I love it.

For Mei - a moment I enjoyed with a friend. One of my happiest memories with friends was on the release day of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Four of us went together on the bus to town to buy the game, and it was the first time I remember feeling that I had a “friend group”. It was so special, and makes me feel warm inside to this day!
