one thing that makes me smile this time of year is sharing dia de los muertos with my non-mexican friends. we have a pretty big found family in my local lgbt+ community, so sharing something culturally important to me, and educating others and helping them respectfully engage with our traditions always makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

and if you want something funny, this gave me and my friends a good laugh.

Oh - a foreign holiday, I see! Being able to share things with your family is pretty nice, isn't it~? ☆ Kind of reminds me of me and onee and how we used to share everything when we were younger. I've never heard of... ah, I do hope I'm pronouncing this right... 'Dia de los Muertos', but since it's something outside of Japan, maybe Mion knows about it? She's the kind of person that likes that sort of thing in the first place, and learning about it, too. Although if she doesn't - I guess that's just something we'll have to learn together! But I do think it's extremely sweet to share your culture with your friends and found family. I plan on doing so with cute little Satoko~! And ahaha, that picture sure did give me a smile.
